Braun Food Service comes from a long history of meat processors, beginning with Braun Beef Company, established in 1946 by George Braun as a small slaughtering and meat processing company. Customers were local Tex-Mex and Mexican restaurants in San Antonio and surrounding areas. Ralph Garcia purchased Braun Beef Company in 2009 and renamed it Braun Food Service to better reflect the company’s mission to provide goods and services to Mexican and American restaurants. Ralph has extensive experience in meat processing and meat cutting. After purchasing the company, he expanded the product lines to include High River Angus Choice, USDA Choice and Select grade meat products.

Eddie Perez, meat and processing manager, has many years of hands-on experience in both the institutional and retail meat industries. He is skilled at meat processing and steak cutting and is knowledgeable about a variety of meat products.

Braun Food Service Company supplies meat, ground meat, and many other products to Tex-Mex and Mexican restaurants, fine dining restaurants, school and college food venues, catering companies, hospitals and retirement centers in the area.
